Storyline : Screenwriter David Sumner and his wife Amy travel in his Jaguar to her hometown, Blackwater, Mississippi after Amy's father has passed. There he intends to write his Stalingrad screenplay there in her house while hiring contractor Charlie to repair its barn roof; though previously Charlie showed Amy no respect he now shows her no regard. Rather than hunting deer alongside Charlie they leave David alone in the woods while they rape Amy instead; when Tom Heddon, an inebriated coach calls Charlie out to hunt slow Jeremy Niles whom his friends later hunt him down Tom Heddon asked Charlie and friends not only protect Jeremy Niles but Amy as well; but this decision led David decides he also to protect both Amy as well.
