Storyline : Ruben has lived in the present for four years, putting aside his inner demons through art. Then, while on tour with his lead-singer/girlfriend, Lou, Ruben realises that his hearing is rapidly deteriorating. This sudden loss of hearing turns Ruben's world upside-down. Numbing fear and angry denial are at play as he accepts reluctantly to join Joe, an elderly Vietnam War veteran who runs a deaf group.
